This artwork pays tribute to Gali, a courageous 13-year-old girl from Kibbutz Be'eri. On the fateful morning of October seventh, Gali valiantly attempted to escape terrorists invading her home by leaping out of a window and sprinting for her life. The three fractured frames within the piece symbolize Gali, her brother—tragically lost in the same terrorist attack—and their grandmother, a pivotal figure in their shared history. These three shattered lives serve as poignant representations of irreparable change, a stark reminder that their existence will never be the same again.
