Noam, along with her mother Sharon (52), spent the holiday in Kibbutz Ba'ari at Sharon's brother's house. On the morning of October 7th, they were kidnapped together with other family, among them were her cousins Nava (8) and Yahel(3) .
She is a scouts girls and a good student, but beyond all, she is a funny, caring, and dedicated friend.
On November 25, as part of the secound phase of the exchange deal, Noam and her mother were released.
This work was inspired by 12-year-old Noam Avigdori. I wanted to create a mural that is personal and shows the story of Noam’s personality. It is there to remind us the she deserves to be free, like a 12 year old girl should, free to roam the world like a pink beautiful butterfly. Watching interviews and videos made by Noam’s friends and family draw a picture of a lively girl, surrounded by friends, with joyful and fun hobbies and lifestyle.
